PROBLEM

Corporate housing has become a commodity in the eyes of the consumer and Compass did
not want to compete for customers on price.

Compass is a small, regional player in the corporate housing industry in one of the most competitive markets in the country. Five years into the business, they wanted to step back from the day-to-day and create a blue print for the next five years.

SOLUTION

Off-Piste Partners conducted a complete company deep dive to identify the key, Compass attributes.

The result was a renewed focus, investing time and resources on customers to make them "feel local". Compass committed to social and digital technology to inform and supply the best custom service in the industry.

RESULTS

Compass committed additional resources to business development and the customer
experience. They will be the first in the industry to institute a Customer Concierge
program.

They have upgraded their use of all social media and are in talks with a mobile app
developer to create a customer app solution. Through these technologies, they hope to
become paperless with check in and check out and put all customer information in the
palm of a customer's hand.

Though a series of local partnerships, they will offer customers dinners, theater tickets
and other benefits to make them feel "local" and get acclimated to their new home
quickly and effortlessly.
