Morrison started his career on the agency side of the Sports Marketing business. He managed several clients including McDonald’s. His group handled a national publicity campaign every 30 days. The campaigns included NBA, NFL and NASCAR promotions as well as many onsite events including Super Bowl and several McDonald’s High School All-American games. Moving to the client side, Morrison moved on to work for Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger Golf. This introduced him to the golf industry first as a PGA Tour rep and player liaison and then in a larger role managing Tommy Hilfiger Golf’s overall involvement with PGA and USGA golf tournaments.
In 2000, Morrison was recruited by Nike Golf to build out their corporate sales division. Over a 9 year period he dismantled the existing structure and was the architect of what would become a $50 million annual division. In this role, he was charged with building all facets of the business; strategy, distribution, inventory management, product creation, pricing, sales and marketing. In addition, he worked with all of Tiger Woods’ partner companies (American Express, Buick, Gatorade, Tag-Heuer, Accenture) to create partnerships between them and Nike Golf.
In 2009, he founded Crossroads Media Marketing, LLC. This boutique group set out to create television programming that incorporated sponsorship and brand integration into the programming. Their first show "The I7", is currently running nationally on Fox Sports Net.
In 2011 he started Off-Piste Partners, a brand strategy think tank that works with small to mid-sized companies on brand development, business development and social media. They teach companies how to create, reinvent or expand their brand.
An avid skier, he serves as the Nordic Cross Country Ski chairman of one of the oldest ski clubs in the Northeast. He lives with his wife and two children in Fairfield, CT.
